Welcome to off-campus department where we are dedicated to bring the love of Christ at your doorpost to help nurture you as a believer in effort of transforming the community at large.
In this department under guidance of holy spirit and the leadership of God’s elected, we work in unison with all non-residence students so as to ensure that the non-residence are well connected ,informed and updated concerning the cu program and event and above all leading them to Christ Jesus. This is to ensure that all the students residing outside the campus feel appreciated, linked and recognized as part and parcel of the Christian union. We work hand in hand with all departments especially the mission and evangelism department in organizing crusades and weekend challenges in effort to spread the gospel. By the grace of God we have been able to reach the student in three residential area ;Kwa Vonza, Mikuyuni(Kwa Mueni) and California(Mwakini). To facilitate smooth of sekucu program and event.
1.we strive to ensure that the fire of God is not quenched (leviticus6:12).despite being outside the university premises where most sekucu programme take place.in this we strive to ensure that the student are have kept the Godly values and character. 2. We are intentional to help the new non-residents transits smoothly in their spiritual life outside the university premises. 3. We also strive to ensure functional follow up program of the new believers and the church of Christ at large.
We normally have bible study and prayer cell groups weekdays that is on Wednesday held up at various students households. On Friday we have fellowship in our respective churches. On Sunday we facilitate the transporting of students who normally attends the service in the university and other churches as well.
These are some of activities we do as off-campus ministry; 1. Prayer meeting 2. Choir practices 3. Praise and worship gatherings /practices 4. And creative ministry activities eg dance, accapella, solo singing among many. The activities include dance, solo singing, acapella performances, skits, art exhibitions, plays, spoken word, and poetry.
